I believe this quilt went to my cousin Kimmy and her husband Clyde. Kimmy's mom wanted me to make quilts for her four children. Kimmy is having her first anniversary at the end of May and my aunt thought a firefighting quilt would be a nice fit. Kimmy is involved with the Westfield Dept. (along with her husband?) so we put on a firefighting print that I had used for my dad in his Christmas present. I came up with this floating block pattern. It was the first time I had ever done this pattern and I'm thinking that I may not do it again unless requested.
